winter's chill ...

it's not quite this bleak here - yet ... the river is still open ... but i can feel the chill of winter starting, as we received our first significant snowfall last night ... i am not a winter person, so each year i need to consciously focus on HIM Who Is my portion ... to be the soul that seeks Him at all times and finds my ALL in Jesus, Who Is my Lord ... and Saviour ...

I love this poster...could I get a copy? No kidding, your first snowfall already. It always gives me a thrill to see the first snowfall if the flakes are large and floating down like awesome. I'm not hard to please haha. I'm kind of worthless this morning, recouping from the week-end which was good. We worked out in our flowerbeds (which were a weedy mess) for about 4 hours. It felt good to be active but now I'm a zero....well mostly.

The kids got me using the Marco Polo app (apple) kind of like a one-sided facetime...have you heard of it? We are probably to far from each other to try it....without $$? I hope you and your hubby are having a good day. We just finished a 500 piece puzzle and will be starting another one I"m thinking.

I read a wonderfully good book by Lynn Austin, called 'Where we belong' based on a true story of twin sisters born in Scotland in 1843. They discovered a copy of The Gospels on Mount Sinai.....etc. The novel is based on them and their travels but fiction=ed up with some romance in the offing and excellent Bible truths. If you ever give it a try....the first two chapters are slow going a bit but whenn it takes off....I loved it.
